Our computer, phone and digital life organizing service is a genius way to remotely declutter your computers and phone. Our thoughtful nerds have been removing their own digital clutter for years and now, in this stay-safe-at-home era we can do the same for you via remote control of your technology! Here are all the great things we can do:
Combine files and folders spread across computers and hard drives into one organized, decluttered system
Archive and delete unused, duplicate and unneeded files and clutter
Combine and deduplicate music libraries
Organize photos and ensure that they are backed up in the cloud
Enable backups including cloud solutions
Ensure safe password storage
Upgrade drivers and fix application problems
Recommend new purchases
Review credit card, Apple and Google Play accounts to eliminate old subscriptions
Our remote digital decluttering service is handled through Zoom or other screen sharing platform and we can do most of the work without needing you at the computer. Here’s how we work:
DIGITAL LIFE ORGANIZING METHOD
Our digital computer decluttering goal is achieved first by making everything easily findable and logically organized. Start by discussing your specific situation and goals over Zoom or other screen sharing technology.
🖥💻For computers, after learning your needs we:
Begin work without needing you!
Create a plan to break the work into 3-4 hour sessions.
Some computers only a need one session; others may need 2-3 sessions.
At the end of each session we will have a list of questions to review with you.
Typically we would group the files between Business and Personal.
For Business files we organize them to divide them between Client files, Operations files, Marketing and Creative files, Vendor files, etc.
For Personal files we organize them by Financial, Family, Projects, Home, etc.
Secondary organization is based on your needs:
Merge and deduplicate photo, video and music libraries, ensuring that no valuable media is lost
Organize desktop shortcuts and menus to be based on what you most use
Technical optimization efforts can include:
Next, we will Setup backup systems, defragment/optimize hard drive space
Update any outdated drivers and legacy applications you no longer use
Help you get your passwords organized such as with the aid of tools like LastPass
Training you and walking you through the new, organized machine(s)!
📱For mobile devices, we:
Learn how you use the device and the most frequently used apps
Organize the apps by type, placing them in folders
Ensure that the music and services you want on your phone are on them
Train you on any apps you want to use, from health tracking to streaming music to Zoom
STANDARD RATES
Our digital organizing service is offered on an hourly basis with a 3-hour minimum.
Rate: $110/hr (regularly $125/hr) - 3-hour minimum
Larger projects over 10 hours: $100/hr
